Health literacy is a critical skill, particularly for young people, as it empowers them to make informed decisions about their health. In the digital age, the proliferation of digital tools and resources has the potential to significantly impact health literacy. This paper reviews the theoretical concepts of health literacy, assesses the current state of health literacy among young people, and analyzes the influence of digitalization on these literacy levels. The aim is to identify the main opportunities and challenges in promoting health literacy in the digital age, with a particular focus on artificial intelligence (AI), social media, and Basic Life Support (BLS). The findings highlight the need for targeted interventions and strategies to enhance health literacy among young people, ensuring they can navigate the digital landscape effectively.
