Associate Professor with Habilitation in Law at the Faculty of Business Sciences of Porto, Universidade Técnica do Porto. Director of the Master’s Degree in Management and Legal-Enterprise Regime of the Social Economy and Co-Director of the Master’s Degree in Entrepreneurial and Legal Practices of the Social Economy. Head of the Social Economy Research Line at CEOS.PP. She participates in several national and international networks in the fields of cooperative law and the social economy and is the author of numerous scientific publications in these areas. She has contributed to legislative reform processes and participated in national and international research projects. Editor of the journal Cooperativismo e Economía Social. Member of the National Council for the Social Economy (CNES). She was awarded the “Social Economy Personality 2022 – Career Honour Award” by the jury of the António Sérgio Cooperation and Solidarity Award and the “Best Teaching and Research Career, 2023” award by the Board of Directors of the School of Cooperative Studies at the Complutense University of Madrid.
