Filipa Joana Branco da Silva holds a PhD in Business Sciences from the University of Minho, with a thesis developed in the field of "Accounting, Propaganda and Rationality in the Pombaline Governance for the Expulsion and Suppression of the Jesuits in the 18th Century". She holds the title of Specialist in Accounting and Taxation and has been teaching in Higher Education since 2011 in the field of Accounting and Management, collaborating with the Instituto Superior Politécnico Gaya (ISPGAYA) and serving as an invited lecturer at the Instituto Superior de Contabilidade e Administração do Porto (ISCAP). She is a collaborating member of the Centre for Organizational and Social Studies of P.Porto (CEOS.PP). Professionally, she has been a Certified Accountant since 2007, an EQAVET verification expert for the National Agency for Qualification and Vocational Education and Training (ANEQP), and a member of the Certified Accountants Pool as a PRR (Recovery and Resilience Plan) expert. Her research activities focus predominantly on Accounting History, Financial Accounting, and Management Accounting.
