I am an Associate Professor at ISCAP Language Department and I love teaching. In my context, I see research as a path to improve the ongoing process of learning. I lecture Portuguese Linguistics, Semiotics and Communication Theory and I coordinate the Portuguese group. I was vice-chair of the Scientific and Technical Board between 2018 and 2024. and I hold a PhD in Linguistics granted by the University of Lisbon (Faculdade de Ciências Sociais e Humanas). My main research interests range from Linguistics, Terminology, Communication, Portuguese as a Second Language and as a host language. Terminology and concept models of blended learning and post-pandemic hybrid modes are also part of my recent research. I regularly take part of national and international conferences and collaborate as peer reviewer in Linguistics and Communication journals.
