Cláudia Teixeira is an Adjunct Professor at ISCAP/IPP, where she teaches Research Methodologies, Corporate Social Responsibility and Financial Accounting - both to accounting and non-accounting programmes, as well as to the Erasmus + Programme. She is the convenor of the ISCAP/IPP Accounting Webinar Series, a project she created with the aim to explore relevant topics within the accounting discipline with prominent scholars, https://www.iscap.ipp.pt/destaques-1/noticias/the-iscap-ipp-accounting-webinar-series-1 Her research interests relate to accounting education, social and environmental accouting research, corporate social responsibility, financial accounting and reporting, among other. Cláudia Teixeira is member of the Editorial Board of Accounting Education and acted as referee for several other international journals, e.g., Accounting, Auditing & Accountability Journal; Meditari Accountancy Research; The International Journal of Management Education; Corporate Social Responsibility and Environmental Management; International Journal of Financial Studies; Journal of Business Governance and Ethics; De Computis, Spanish Journal of Accounting History; European Journal of Management Studies, Accounting and Management Review, Social Responsibility Journal, among other. Claudia is a member of the Education Committee of the European Accounting Association (EAA) for 2026-2029. She is also a Grudis Accounting Research Network Collaborator (Organizing Workshops, since September 2022), and an associated scholar of the Environmental, Ecological and Extinction Accounting, Governance and Economics Research Group (EEEAGER). She is a research member of the CEOS.PP- Centre for Organisational and Social Studies of P.Porto; as well as the Research Centre on Accounting and Taxation (CICF). Cláudia has been invited as Speaker to talk about accounting education research, and relating topics, at academic and scientific events: e.g. Accounting Research Seminar Series BRU ISCTE-IUL; VI Research Seminar on Accounting and Taxation (CICF); the Ph.D Programme in Accounting at the University of Aveiro; VIII Grudis Workshop; 10th GECAMB/P-CSEAR & XXIV Grudis Conference and Doctoral Colloquium; Symposium on Sustainability in Accounting, Management, Finance and Taxation Programmes in Higher Education; VI Jornadas Científicas do Mestrado em Contabilidade e Finanças da APNOR. Cláudia received the Outstanding Reviewer Award, Professor Ana Maria Rodrigues, from the Grudis Accounting Research Network at the XXII Grudis Conference and Doctoral Colloquium, held at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Coimbra in 2023. She was also awarded an Honourable Mention at the 2009 Prize Professor Rogério Fernandes Ferreira by the Research Centre for Business Management Studies of ISEG (University of Lisbon); the Portuguese Institute of Statutory Auditors (OROC); and the Portuguese Order of Chartered Accountants (OCC).
