Cláudia Teixeira is an Adjunct Professor at ISCAP/IPP, where she teaches a range of modules and programmes: Research Methodologies in Accounting and Finance (MSc level); Financial Accounting to accounting and non-accounting programmes, and the Erasmus Programme. Cláudia has been actively involved in the academic community and, since 2009, has been presenting her research at the British Accounting and Finance Association (BAFA), European Accounting Association (EAA) and Irish Accounting and Finance Association (IAFA) annual conferences, among others. Cláudia Teixeira is the Convenor of "The ISCAP/IPP Accounting Webinar Series" - a project she started in 2016 with the aim to explore relevant topics within the accounting discipline with prominent scholars in the field, e.g.: https://www.iscap.ipp.pt/destaques-1/noticias/the-iscap-ipp-accounting-webinar-series Cláudia is a member of the Editorial Board of Accounting Education and acted as referee for several other international journals: e.g. Accounting Education; Accounting, Auditing & Accountability Journal; Meditari Accountancy Research; The International Journal of Management Education; Corporate Social Responsibility and Environmental Management; International Journal of Financial Studies; Journal of Business Governance and Ethics; De Computis Spanish Journal of Accounting History; Accounting and Management Review (Revista de Contabilidade e Gestão); European Journal of Management Studies; among other. Between 2015-2018, she was associate editor of Revista de Ciências Empresariais e Jurídicas (RCEJ), published by ISCAP/IPP. Cláudia has been an invited speaker at Ph.D research seminars and workshops (e.g. BRU-ISCTE, CICF-IPCA, ISCA-UA, Workshop GRUDIS); as well as discussant and member of the scientific committee of international conferences (e.g. GRUDIS Conference and Doctoral Colloquium; CISTI: WEd5.0 and WICTA; CICA; GECAMB/P-CSEAR; and AE SIG BAFA Conference); and member of the organising committee of research seminars and GRUDIS Workshops. Cláudia received an 'Outstanding Reviewer Award' from the GRUDIS Accounting Research Network in 2023. She was also awarded an Honourable Mention at the 2009 Prize Professor Rogério Fernandes Ferreira by the Research Centre for Business Management Studies of ISEG-UL; the Portuguese Institute of Statutory Auditors (OROC); and the Portuguese Chartered Accountants Association (OCC).
