Paulo Alves de Sousa de Vasconcelos completed his PhD in Market and Law in 2014 at the University of Vigo. He obtained his Master's Degree in Legal and Business Sciences in 1998 from the Faculty of Law of the University of Coimbra and his Law Degree in 1990 from the Portuguese Catholic University (Porto). He has been a Coordinating Professor at ISCAP (the Porto Polytechnic Institute) since 2006. He is a member of ISCAP's Technical-Scientific Council and coordinator of the scientific area of Law. He has published several articles in specialised journals. He has published two books and several book chapters. His main area of research and work is commercial law. He practice as a lawyer since 1992.
