Pedro Martins is Professor at Coimbra Business School - Polytechnic Institute of Coimbra, Portugal. He is also a researcher at the Centre for Mathematics, Fundamental Applications and Operations Research of the University of Lisbon, Portugal. He holds a BSc degree in Mathematics from the University of Coimbra and a DESS in Statistics and Numerical Engineering from the University of Lille, France. He also holds a MSc in Operations Research and a PhD in Optimization from the University of Lisbon. His research interests and published work are in linear integer programming, heuristics and mathematical modelling, addressing network design problems, clique related problems, clustering, logistics and routing problems, project scheduling, production planning, workforce planning and financial planning.
