Ana Azevedo is director of CEOS.PP Research Centre since March 2023, and she has been a member of its Directive Board for four years since its foundation in February 2017. She holds a Ph.D. in Information Systems and Technologies, University of Minho, Portugal. She is a member of the Scientific Board of the Master in E-Business, was a member of the Scientific Council, and is an Associate Professor in the Information Systems Department, School of Business, Polytechnic of Porto, Portugal, teaching courses on Analytics, Business Intelligence, Research Methodologies, and e-commerce. She is editor-in-chief of the International Journal of Business Intelligence Research (IJBIR), associate editor of the International Journal of Technology and Human Interaction (IJTHI), and the Electronic Journal of Business Research Methods (EJBRM); member of the Editorial Advisory Board of the International Journal of Information and Learning Technology (IJILT); member of the Editorial Review Board of the International Journal of Grid and Utility Computing (IJGUC), the Electronic Journal of E-Learning (EJEL), and Future Internet. She serves as chair of several conferences and special sessions in conferences and as guest editor for several books and special issues in journals. She serves as a member of the program committee for several conferences and a regular reviewer for several journals and conferences. Regularly publishes articles in journals, conferences, and other sources. Her primary areas of research interest are Business Intelligence, Analytics, Decision Support Systems, Data mining, E-Business, and Digital Transformation. Her research interests also include research methodologies, e-assessment, and gender issues in information systems research and STEM.
