Ana Amaro has a PhD in Engineering and Industrial Management, Coordinate Professor, and a Master Director at ISCAC-IPC. She teaches and is responsible for several curricular units, in the area of Quantitative Methods and Management Information Systems, and is a scientific advisor for Dissertations, Projects and Internship Reports. The main research interests are Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Process Planning and Operations, with a special focus on Operational Research and Optimization. She has several publications in indexed international scientific journals, book chapters and communications at scientific conferences. She is a reviewer in several indexed scientific journals, and at national and international conferences. She has been a member of the Scientific Committee at several conferences, and participated in national and international funded projects.
