Resume
Abstract
Grid Computing (GC) serves as a foundational element in research, enabling scalable, distributed, and cost-effective data processing across complex and heterogeneous environments. By integrating GC with Data Mining (DM), Business Intelligence (BI), and Utility Computing (UC), the studies investigate how emerging technologies can be applied to solve real-world challenges. While originally designed for organizational and corporate contexts, the findings have broader implications, especially in education. The research highlights the synergy between GC and technologies like Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), and Cloud Computing, which can support advanced applications in Educational Computing. Examples include processing real-time data from smart classrooms, enabling adaptive learning, and personalized assessment. A validated case study confirms that combining GC, UC, DM, and BI enhances strategic planning and resource management, outcomes that are transferable to academic institutions. Overall, the research advances GC and demonstrates its potential to drive innovation and data-driven decision-making in both the business and education sectors.
