Ana Cláudia Rodrigues holds a PhD in Human Resources Management and Development from ISCTE – Instituto Universitário de Lisboa (2018), an MSc in Human Resources Management (2002), and a Bachelor's in Psychology from the Faculty of Psychology and Education Sciences, University of Porto (1995). A Senior Professor at the Polytechnic Institute of Porto, she teaches Human Resources Management at both undergraduate and master's levels at ISCAP – Porto Accounting and Business School. Since 2014, she has led the Bachelor's program in Human Resources as its Director. Since its establishment in 2025, she has been a member of the Technical-Scientific Team at OCA, the Observatory of Adult Competences, which is a Specialized Services Unit of P. Porto. She is an active researcher at inED (Centre for Research and Innovation in Education) and CEOS.PP (Centre for Organisational and Social Studies, Polytechnic of Porto). Since 2020, her work includes over 15 peer-reviewed articles indexed in Web of Science and/or Scopus, plus 5 book chapters. Her research explores HR practices, organizational culture, and performance, particularly in SMEs, micro-firms, and social economy contexts; Competencies and future labour market demands; Digital transformation in HR and evolving work arrangements; and Sustainability, Green HRM, and Corporate Social Responsibility. She also contributes as a peer reviewer for international scientific journals, including the International Journal of Human Resources Management, the Journal of Workplace Behavioural Health, and the Journal of Organizational Effectiveness.
