Sociologist, holding a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Sociology from the University of Porto-Portugal, a Specialist Degree in Human Resources, and a PhD in Social Economy from the University of Valencia-Spain. She has extensive research experience in the fields of work and employment, labour market inequalities, gender studies, diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI), and social and labour market inclusion of vulnerable groups. She has participated in and coordinated several research and action-research projects focused on equal opportunities, gender equality, diversity and inclusion, employability, entrepreneurship, and people management and development. As Principal Investigator, she coordinated the European AMIF project ENFEM – Female TCNs Integration in Local Communities through Employability and Entrepreneurship Local Oriented Strategies (GAP-101038287), which addresses the labour market integration of migrant women through inclusive, locally grounded strategies. She is a Lecturer in the field of Social Sciences at Technical Universit of Porto and a Researcher at inED - Center for Research and Innovation in Education.
