Maria Helena Gonçalves Martins completed a Ph.D. in Management in 2016 at the University of Porto, Faculty of Economics, a Master's degree in Erasmus Mundus Master on Work, Organizations, and Personnel Psychology (WOP-P) in 2008 at the University of Coimbra (Portugal) and Valencia (Spain) and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology in 2005 at the University of Minho. She is an External Trainer in Behavioral Studies as a freelancer, an Adjunct Professor at the Polytechnic Institute of Setúbal, and a Visiting Assistant Professor at NOVA SBE, University Nova of Lisbon. She has published 25 articles in peer-reviewed journals and authored 22 book chapters. She has supervised 30 master's dissertations and co-supervised 8. Additionally, she has supervised 4 undergraduate final projects and co-supervised 2. She has participated as a Researcher in 2 projects and as a Contributor in 1 project. Her work focuses on the Social Sciences, specifically Economics and Business, with an emphasis on Organization and Business Management. Currently she is exploring soft skills development for crisis situations.
